Doha: HE President of the Union of the Comoros Azali Assoumani arrived in Doha on Sunday to take part in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held Monday. HE the President and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani.

According to Qatar News Agency, the visit of President Azali Assoumani underscores the importance of the summit, which aims to address pressing issues faced by the Arab and Islamic nations. The Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit is expected to bring together leaders from various countries to deliberate on these crucial matters.
