President of Iraq’s Kurdistan and British Chief of Staff Discuss Middle East Developments

ERBIL: President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, engaged in talks with the visiting Chief of the British Staff, Tony Radakin, focusing on the situation in Iraq and the broader Middle East, amid the region’s rapidly evolving dynamics.

According to Qatar News Agency, Barzani commended the United Kingdom’s sustained assistance to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq during the meeting. Radakin reaffirmed the UK’s dedication to bolstering and enhancing joint efforts with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, underlining the necessity of ongoing cooperation and coordination to preserve regional stability. The discussion also included an exchange of perspectives on other issues of mutual concern.
