Dakar: HE President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, met with HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, in Dakar. During their meeting, HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with his wishes for good health and happiness for HE the President, and expressed hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Senegal.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE President of the Republic of Senegal reciprocated the warm sentiments by entrusting HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him continued health and happiness. He also expressed his hopes for ongoing growth, development, and prosperity for the State of Qatar.

The discussion between the leaders focused on reviewing bilateral cooperation relations and exploring ways to support and enhance them. They also addressed a number of issues of common interest, aiming to strengthen the diplomatic ties between Senegal and Qatar.
