Beirut:HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has met with Major General Hassan Choucair, the Director General of General Security in Lebanon. Their discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing the latest developments in Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting occurred on Friday during HE Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to Beirut. The talks emphasized the importance of cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon, focusing on efforts to bolster security and stability within Lebanon.

HE Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, unity, and stability, and emphasized Doha’s commitment to supporting Lebanese state institutions. This meeting is part of Qatar’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to foster security and stability in the region.
