Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Abbas Araghchi. The call focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, among other mutual interests.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the conversation, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar's support for the agreement between the United States and Iran to advance to the next phase of talks. These talks aim to establish a fair, permanent, and binding agreement that would bolster security, stability, and peace in the region, while also opening new opportunities for cooperation and dialogue.
