London: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in discussions with UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Lammy regarding the forthcoming visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the United Kingdom scheduled for December. The discussions took place during a working lunch in London. According to Qatar News Agency, both parties explored the cooperative relations between Qatar and the UK and deliberated on ways to enhance and develop these ties. A significant focus was placed on bolstering joint efforts to conclude the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid in a sustainable and uninterrupted manner across the region. Additionally, the dialogue included talks on the latest developments in the Middle East and strategies to de-escalate tensions in Lebanon, along with addressing several other mutual concerns.
