Ramallah - Ma'an - Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa revealed that a meeting will soon be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, between the Fatah and Hamas movements. Mustafa said in a statement that the meeting between Hamas and Fatah aims to reach some understandings as a first stage to arrange the situation to serve the Gaza Strip. The Prime Minister confirmed the Palestinian Authority's readiness to administer the Gaza Strip the day after the war. He stressed that Gaza is part of the Palestinian territories, and that the Authority, its institutions and employees are present and continue their work in the sector, especially education and health. Mustafa continued: The only legitimacy for rule in Palestine is the legitimacy of the Palestinian state and the PLO, and the Palestinian Authority will manage the sector in a way that includes all the energies of the Palestinian people without excluding anyone. We will bear the responsibility and are ready to do our duty. He pointed out that there is coordinatio n with all relevant Palestinian parties in this regard. 'We need everyone's efforts. The responsibility is great, the disaster is great, and all the energies of the Palestinian people must be mobilized for the noble goal of restoring life to Gaza, the unity of the Palestinian people, linking the West Bank and Gaza, and establishing the state.'
