Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 11th meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee. The meeting focused on enhancing the cooperation relations between Qatar and Turkiye and exploring ways to support and develop them further.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in light of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip. Both leaders emphasized the importance of regional and international efforts to ensure the comprehensive implementation of the agreement, which is seen as a crucial step towards achieving lasting peace and stability in the region. Additionally, they touched upon a number of topics of common interest to both nations.
