Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Dr. Nawaf Salam. The conversation focused on enhancing cooperation between the two nations and the recent developments in Lebanon, particularly concerning the ceasefire agreement and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territories. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister emphasized Qatar's unwavering support for Lebanon, highlighting the importance of Lebanon's unity and territorial integrity. Qatar's continued support for the Lebanese people was reiterated. Additionally, His Excellency expressed support for the new Lebanese government's initiatives in development and economic sectors, stressing the necessity of adhering fully to the ceasefire agreement and ensuring the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all Lebanese territories.
