London: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy as part of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's state visit to London. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and developing strategies to address current regional issues. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions included the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian Territories, as well as developments in Syria. The meeting also covered several issues of joint interest between Qatar and the United Kingdom. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized Qatar's intention to strengthen the strategic partnership with the UK and expand the relationship to new levels of cooperation. The discussions are seen as a continuation of the efforts initiated during HH the Amir's visit to London, aiming to solidify the friendly ties between the two nations.
