Prime Minister of Qatar Engages in Strategic Discussion with Sudanese Counterpart

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Kamil Idris. The discussion focused on bilateral cooperation and explored ways to enhance such cooperation, alongside addressing the latest developments in the region and issues of joint interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to addressing regional developments with wisdom, emphasizing the importance of good neighborliness and promoting security and stability in the region. He highlighted the necessity for unified regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve disputes through diplomatic channels.

The Sudanese Prime Minister, during the call, condemned the Iranian missile attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, labeling it a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, and a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
