Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Head of the Government of National Unity of the State of Libya Abdul Hamid Mohammed Al Dbeiba at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday. The meeting took place during Al Dbeiba's visit to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on cooperation between Qatar and Libya, exploring ways to support and enhance these relations. The leaders also exchanged views on regional developments, with particular attention to the situations in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria. The meeting also addressed various topics of mutual interest.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's steadfast commitment to supporting Libya's unity and the aspirations of its people for stability and development. He emphasized Qatar's full backing of the Libyan political track, relevant Security Council resolutions, and all peaceful solutions aimed at preserving Libya's sovereignty.
