Doha: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the reigning champions, continued their winning streak in the French Football League with a decisive 4-1 victory over hosts Rennes in the matchday 25 on Saturday. PSG's goals were scored by Bradley Barcola in the 27th minute, Portuguese player Goncalo Ramos in the 50th minute, and Ousmane Dembele with two goals in the 90+1 and 90+4 minutes. Lilian Brassier scored Rennes' only goal in the 53rd minute.
According to Qatar News Agency, with this win, the Parisian club increased their tally to 65 points, maintaining their lead at the top of the league table, 16 points ahead of second-placed Olympique de Marseille, who will play later today against Lens. On the other hand, Rennes suffered their 14th loss of the season, remaining at 29 points in 11th place.
Additionally, Ousmane Dembele strengthened his position as the top scorer in the French League this season with 20 goals, after scoring two goals as a substitute in the final quarter of the match.
