Cairo, The Community Affairs Department at Public Security has secured second place in the Arab security personnel human rights research competition. The competition was organised by the Arab Office for Security Awareness, Media, and Human Rights, part of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, in cooperation with Egypt's Ministry of Interior. Colonel Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, commended the support of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, highlighting the importance of promoting research in various fields to enhance security operations. He also acknowledged the ongoing follow up by the Chief of Public Security on the scientific contributions made by the Ministry of Interior personnel. The Assistant Chief commended the research team's efforts in preparing the study, which explored the role of artificial intelligence in protecting human rights, addressing the opportunities, challenges, and fu ture prospects for integrating AI into security practices. The study presented key findings and valuable insights relevant to advancing security operations while safeguarding human rights. Source: Bahrain News Agency
