Doha: Qatar Aluminum Manufacturing Company's (QAMCO) net profits surged by 38 percent in 2024, reaching QR 614.4 million, compared to QR 446 million in 2023. Data released by the company, published Wednesday on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, showed an increase in earnings per share to QR 0.11 for the period ending Dec. 31, 2024, up from QR 0.08 for the same period the previous year.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Board of Directors recommended a dividend distribution of QR 0.05 per share for the second half of the year, bringing the total distributed dividends to QR 0.08 per share in 2024. This represents a distribution ratio of 73 percent of net profits for 2024, or 8 percent of the nominal value of the share.
