According to Qatar News Agency, with this win, Qatar moved to four points in Group B, sharing the top spot with Australia, who edged past Kuwait 2-1 in their group match. The two group leaders will face off on Wednesday to determine the group winner. In Group A, Iran and the UAE also booked their places in the semi-finals. Iran defeated Lebanon 3-0, while the UAE overcame Jordan 2-1. Both teams have four points and will meet tomorrow to decide first and second place in the group. In the women's tournament, Japan and Iran advanced to the semi-finals from Group A after registering identical 3-0 wins over the UAE and Saudi Arabia, respectively. They will play each other on Wednesday to determine the group winner. In Group B, Australia swept Thailand 3-0, while Indonesia defeated the Philippines by the same scoreline. Indonesia leads the group with four points and can secure top spot with a win against Thailand. Both Thailand and Australia, with three points each, remain in contention for a semi-final berth.
