Doha: Qatar and Al Wakrah reached the second round of the HH the Amir Basketball Cup for the sports season (2023-2024), after Al Wakrah beat Al Gharafa 78-74 and Qatar defeated Al Khor 123-89. Qatar and Al Wakrah, each with 6 points, ranked second and third respectively in the first group and advanced to the second round of the tournament. Al Khor and Al Gharafa, each with 5 points in fourth and fifth places respectively, exited the competitions from the first round, while Al Arabi, in first place with 8 points, topped the group and qualified for the semi-finals directly.
