Yerevan: The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Armenia held the first round of political consultation on Tuesday in Yerevan, Armenia. HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi led the Qatari side, while HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan led the Armenian side.

According to Qatar News Agency, the consultation round discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them. HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Armenia Mansour bin Abdulla Al Sulaitin, HE Director of Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Al Johara bint Yousef Al Obaidan Fakhro, and the accompanying delegation attended the consultation round.
