Doha: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, met on Thursday with HE Scott Gilmore, Senior Advisor to Canada's Prime Minister on Foreign, Defence, and Security Policy, who is currently visiting Doha. The agenda included bilateral trade and investment relations and ways to strengthen economic cooperation between Qatar and Canada. The meeting also touched on a number of issues of mutual interest, according to the Ministry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the visit comes as both countries continue to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration across strategic sectors. The discussions are part of ongoing efforts to enhance economic ties and cooperation between the two nations, focusing on key areas that could benefit from increased partnership and investment.
