Paris: The Joint Economic and Financial Committee of the fourth session of the Qatari-French Strategic Dialogue convened in Paris, bringing together key representatives from both nations to discuss economic cooperation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting saw the participation of Dr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, representing the Qatari side. The Qatar Investment Authority and the Embassy of the State of Qatar in France also took part. Leading the French delegation was Paul Teboul, Head of the Bilateral Affairs and International Business Development Department at the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.
The agenda focused on enhancing bilateral collaboration across financial and economic sectors. Participants explored potential investment opportunities in strategic sectors, emphasizing the importance of food security and public-private partnerships. The discussions also extended to cooperation in the digital sector, highlighting the growing importance of digital transformation in global economic strategies.
