Qatar and Grenada Ink Air Services Agreement for Unrestricted Flight Operations

Doha: The State of Qatar and the State of Grenada have formalized an air services agreement, paving the way for designated airlines from both nations to operate with unlimited and unrestricted traffic rights for passenger and cargo flights, thereby strengthening cooperation in air transportation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was inked by HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Thani and HE Prime Minister of Grenada Dickon Mitchell. The signing took place on the sidelines of the ongoing International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Facilitation Conference (FALC 2025) in Doha.

The newly signed pact aligns with Qatar's strategic objective to enhance its global connectivity through new air services agreements. This initiative is designed to facilitate the expansion of Qatar's national carrier's network, enabling it to serve a wider array of destinations worldwide.

Following the signing ceremony, both officials engaged in discussions about bilateral relations concerning transportation and civil aviation, exploring avenues for further enhancement. They also reviewed the latest advancements in air transportation facilitation, aiming to optimize the sector's efficiency and effectiveness.
