Qatar and Kazakhstan Enhance Economic and Trade Ties

Astana: The seventh session of the Qatari-Kazakh Joint Higher Committee convened in Astana to discuss strategies for enhancing economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Qatar and Kazakhstan. The meeting was a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Qatari delegation was led by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The Kazakh delegation was headed by His Excellency Mr. Arman Kasenov, Deputy Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Senior officials from both nations participated in the talks, underscoring the importance of the committee in fostering strategic partnerships.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Al-Sayed highlighted the robust relationship between Qatar and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the committee's role as a crucial platform for deepening ties across various sectors. The discussions focused on identifying new avenues for cooperation and reinforcing existing partnerships, aiming to boost economic and trade relations between the two countries.
