Qatar and Sierra Leone Engage in Political Consultations

Freetown: The first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Sierra Leone took place in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The meeting convened on Tuesday and marked a significant step in diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions were chaired by officials from both countries. The Qatari delegation was led by HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi. Representing Sierra Leone was HE Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Alan C. E. Logan.

During the consultations, both parties explored cooperative ties and addressed a variety of topics of mutual interest. The meeting underscored the commitment of Qatar and Sierra Leone to strengthen diplomatic relations and enhance collaboration in areas beneficial to both countries.
