Qatar Central Bank Announces QAR 2.5 Billion Government Bonds Issuance

Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued government bonds on behalf of the Ministry of Finance worth QAR 2.5 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the issuance consists of two tranches, each valued at QAR 1.25 billion. The first tranche is a tap issuance due on September 3, 2028, with a yield of 4.1 percent. The second tranche also carries a yield of 4.1 percent and is set to mature on August 24, 2030.

QCB revealed in a post on X that the total bids for the bonds amounted to QAR 4.4 billion.
