Qatar Chamber and Oman Chamber Discuss Education Sector Cooperation

Doha: The Education Committee at Qatar Chamber (QC) engaged in discussions with its Omani counterpart on Sunday, focusing on areas of cooperation and leveraging each side's expertise to enhance the work of both committees. The discussions also covered the activities and experiences of Qatar Chamber's Education Committee in supporting the private education sector.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting involved First Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Education Committee, Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, and an Omani delegation from the Education Committee at Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Chairman Sheikh Al-Qasim bin Mohamed Al-Harthi. Members of QC's Education Committee were also present at the meeting.

Al Kuwari highlighted the strong relations between Qatar and Oman across various fields, emphasizing QC's support for the development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the education sector. He elaborated on the Education Committee's efforts in supporting the private education sector, providing opinions on draft laws, and collaborating with relevant authorities.

Sheikh Al-Harthi praised the robust relations between the two nations and stated that the delegation's visit aims to bolster cooperation with Qatar Chamber's Education Committee. The visit seeks to benefit from Qatar's expertise in supporting private education and to gain insights into the development of private education in Qatar.
