Doha: Qatar Chamber and the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund (WSIF) recently engaged in discussions to explore methods for enhancing cooperation in labour affairs, business, training, and awareness.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures including Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori, and Executive Director of the Fund, Khloud Saif Al Kubaisi. Additional attendees included Hussein Yousef Al Abdul Ghani, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at Qatar Chamber, and Fatima Issa Al Kuwari, Head of the Training and Development Department.

The discussions were centered around potential avenues of cooperation between the two organizations on labour-related issues. This included addressing key challenges and proposals, as well as coordinating efforts to organize specialized training courses, workshops, and awareness seminars.

Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori emphasized Qatar Chamber's commitment to cooperating with all relevant parties on labour affairs. He highlighted the Chamber's efforts in addressing challenges and developing solutions that protect the interests of both employers and workers, as well as its role in raising awareness of labour legislation through various seminars and workshops.

Khloud Al Kubaisi expressed the Fund's dedication to supporting workers and improving their conditions to ensure a safe work environment. She noted that her visit was aimed at enhancing cooperation through joint meetings with Qatari business owners and companies.
