Doha: The Qatar Chamber (QC) signed Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Regional Network Consultancy (ANC), a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility (CSR), for cooperation in training courses. Director of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Qatar Chamber, Hussein Yousef Abdul Ghani, and General Director of the Regional Network Consultancy, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ibrahim, signed the MoU in the presence of Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, Ali Saeed Bu Sherbak Al Mansouri, and International Ambassador for Social Responsibility, Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al Kuwari. Al Mansouri said that the Chamber welcomes the signing of the agreement with (ANC) for cooperation and coordination to hold a number of training courses related to social responsibility. He added that the Chamber is interested in spreading awareness of social responsibility among private-sector companies. He expressed his hope that the courses would have a positive impact on the Qatari private sector. For his part, Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al Kuwari praised the cooperation with the Qatar Chamber and expressed his hope that the training courses would contribute to building the capabilities of the Qatari private sector. He noted that the Regional Network Consultancy (ANC) is a Qatari institution cooperating with international agencies and institutions in 21 countries. Source: Qatar News Agency
