Qatar Chamber Engages in Strategic Arab-French Chamber Meetings

Paris: Qatar Chamber (QC) participated in the Board of Directors meeting and Executive Office meeting of the Arab French Chamber of Commerce, held recently in Paris, France. HE QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani was present to represent the Chamber, where discussions centered on enhancing commercial ties between Arab countries and France and the crucial role of the private sector in boosting trade exchanges.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani commended the robust trade relations shared by Arab countries and France. He underscored the pivotal role played by Qatar Chamber and Arab chambers in fostering economic cooperation as active members of the Arab French Chamber of Commerce.

HE Sheikh Khalifa highlighted the concerted efforts in promoting trade and economic collaboration, emphasizing the importance of ongoing coordination on various economic and trade issues. These efforts play a significant role in fortifying the trade relations between the Arab world and France.

Furthermore, HE Sheikh Khalifa noted the exceptional trade relations between Qatar and France, revealing that their trade exchange reached QR 5.6 billion in 2024. He described France as a vital trade partner for Qatar.

The QC Chairman also emphasized the strong relationship between the Qatari private sector and its French counterpart, facilitated through continuous engagements by the Qatar Chamber, its French counterpart, and the Arab-French Chamber. These efforts are instrumental in fostering cooperation and facilitating business and investment exchanges between the two nations.
