Doha: HE Chairman of Qatar Chamber (QC) Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani recently engaged in discussions with HE Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Qatar Salah Attia. The meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing commercial and economic cooperation between Qatar and Algeria, with a focus on strengthening the role of the private sector in increasing trade exchange and establishing joint ventures that would contribute to the economic growth of both nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani received an invitation to lead a Qatari business and industrial delegation to Algeria. The objective of this visit is to explore Algeria's investment climate and the opportunities available, especially for Qatari industrial companies. These companies are looking to expand their activities beyond Qatar and gain access to new markets in Algeria.
