Qatar Charity and Workers’ Fund Forge Partnership to Aid Workers

Doha: Qatar Charity signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund, aiming to cooperate and coordinate on providing many services to workers in Qatar, meeting their humanitarian needs, and improving their quality of life. The agreement was signed by Assistant CEO for Programs and Community Development at Qatar Charity Faisal Rashid Al Fahida, and Executive Director of the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund Kholoud Saif Al Kubaisi, in the presence of officials from both parties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MoU stipulates cooperation between the two parties to help humanitarian cases involving workers, propose joint projects for their benefit, and exchange consultations and information related to these cases, projects, and initiatives. These initiatives will provide appropriate services and support to workers, with the aim of creating a stimulating environment for them.

In this regard, Al Fahida stated that the agreement represents a practical embodiment of Qatar Charity's commitment to workers, who play a significant role in the growth and development of Qatar. He emphasized that through this partnership, Qatar Charity aims to elevate the quality of services provided to workers and enhance collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure adequate support in various areas.

Kholoud Saif Al Kubaisi highlighted that the MoU showcases a model of effective partnership between national institutions and leading humanitarian organizations in Qatar. She mentioned that the memorandum outlines a framework for cooperation in providing humanitarian services and social support for workers, focusing on assisting deserving cases and implementing joint projects that address their needs.
