Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Iranian attacks on the commercial port of Duqm in Oman and an oil tanker off the Omani coast.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar described these attacks as a violation of Oman's sovereignty and an unacceptable escalation. The attacks were characterized as a cowardly targeting of Oman, a nation actively mediating between Iran and the international community to defuse tensions and promote dialogue to resolve issues.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, in a statement, affirmed its complete solidarity with Oman in all measures undertaken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
