Qatar Condemns Israeli Attack on Hamas Leaders in Doha

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman. The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack targeting a village in northeast Nigeria, resulting in numerous casualties. Additionally, HH the Amir received a call from HE President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto regarding the recent regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) has condemned the Israeli attack on Hamas political leaders in Doha, who were engaged in an internationally recognized negotiation process for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also criticized the attack, stating it aimed to destabilize Qatar.

The State of Qatar, represented by the Communications Regulatory Authority, is participating in the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai. Meanwhile, the Qatar Career Development Center launched the 2025 edition of the Career Counselors Hub in collaboration with various educational and governmental entities.

Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard and officials from the Democratic Republic of the Congo have condemned the Israeli strikes in Doha, citing violations of Qatar's territorial integrity. Dr. Ismail Al Thawabta from Gaza described the aggression as a violation of international law.

Lebanese politicians have also condemned the attack, voicing their support for Qatar. The State of Qatar has communicated its concerns to the United Nations and the Security Council, highlighting the threat to national sovereignty.

The Shura Council in Qatar labeled the attack as treacherous and criminal. Meanwhile, HH the Amir welcomed HH President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Doha, further affirming regional solidarity.
