Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation's recent decision to convert lands in the West Bank into "state property" under the control of Israeli authorities. This decision is viewed by Qatar as part of ongoing illegal efforts to strip the Palestinian people of their rightful claims.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar issued a statement on Sunday urging for global unity to pressure Israel into reversing this decision. The ministry emphasized the potential serious repercussions of this move and called for international action to prevent its implementation.

Furthermore, the ministry reiterated Qatar's consistent and steadfast support for the Palestinian cause. It highlighted Qatar's commitment to the resolutions of international legitimacy and the two-state solution, which includes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem designated as its capital.
