Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its condemnation of Israel's repeated violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in several fatalities and injuries. It emphasized that these violations could lead to dangerous escalation, further inflaming the situation and undermining regional and global efforts aimed at maintaining de-escalation and restoring stability to the area.
According to Qatar News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that these persistent violations pose a direct threat to the ongoing political process and hinder efforts to create a more secure and stable environment for Palestinians in the enclave. The ministry stressed that Israel must fully adhere to the ceasefire agreement to ensure a successful second phase of US President Donald Trump's plan and enforce Security Council Resolution 2803.
The ministry urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid any actions that would jeopardize ongoing efforts, emphasizing the importance of creating conditions favorable for early recovery and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.
