According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari team raised its score to four points, advancing to second place in Group B, behind Spain, which leads with six points. Tunisia finished third with two points, followed by South Korea in fourth with no points.
The Qatari team qualified for the semi-finals as the best second-place team in the tournament's three groups. The group winners qualify directly for the semi-finals, along with the best second-place team.
The Qatari team secured qualification, along with Spain, which topped Group B, Egypt, which qualified after topping Group A, and Germany, which topped Group C.
