Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation government's decision to halt the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, calling it a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, international humanitarian law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and all religious laws.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the State of Qatar's unequivocal rejection of using food as a weapon of war and starving civilians. The ministry called on the international community to compel Israel to ensure the safe, sustainable, and unobstructed entry of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Gaza Strip.
The ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's steadfast stance on the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
