Fiuggi: The State of Qatar participated in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Seven (G7) and Arab partners in Fiuggi, Italy, focusing on the theme "Together for the stability of the Middle East." The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who represented Qatar. According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency emphasized the importance of the meeting as a platform for the G7 and Arab countries to collaborate on addressing critical challenges related to stability and peace in the Middle East. He highlighted issues in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Sudan as having widespread global security and developmental impacts. His Excellency underlined the global necessity of Middle Eastern stability, noting that conflicts in the region have far-reaching effects on energy markets, migration patterns, and global security. Qatar's approach to regional stability is based on three core principles: mediation, investm ent in human development, and sustainable economic cooperation. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi highlighted Qatar's successful diplomatic efforts in mediating negotiations and hosting peace talks, showcasing its commitment to diplomacy. He also noted Qatar's leading role in providing humanitarian aid and resources to rebuild conflict-affected communities. In his address, His Excellency urged participants to focus on comprehensive economic development, support for dispute resolution platforms, and sustainable energy security solutions. He reaffirmed Qatar's readiness to collaborate with international partners to invest in a shared future and transform regional commitments into tangible actions. The Minister stressed the significance of close cooperation with G7 countries to develop sustainable solutions that ensure long-term progress and stability for the Middle East and beyond.
