Qatar Engages in Air Services Talks at ICAO Event in Punta Cana

Punta cana: The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), is actively participating in the 17th International Air Services Negotiation Event (ICAN 2025), organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The event is being hosted in Punta Cana from November 10 to 14, 2025, and was inaugurated by HE President Luis Rodolfo Abinader of the Dominican Republic. It has gathered officials, experts, and representatives from various countries and international aviation bodies.

According to Qatar News Agency, Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri, the Acting President of the QCAA, leads Qatar's delegation at the conference. The ICAN conference is recognized as the largest global platform for air services negotiations, providing participating states with opportunities to engage in bilateral and multilateral discussions on air transport agreements.

The event is also a significant forum for addressing current developments in international aviation and enhancing collaboration between global air transport stakeholders.
