Qatar Engages in AlUla Conference on Emerging Market Economies

Doha: The State of Qatar participated in the AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies, which commenced Sunday in AlUla, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is scheduled to run for two days. HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari represented the State of Qatar at the esteemed conference.

According to Qatar News Agency, this high-level annual event is organized by the Saudi Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It brings together a select group of finance ministers, central bank governors, and policymakers from emerging markets, alongside leaders from the public and private sectors, international institutions, and academia.

The conference serves as a platform to exchange views on domestic, regional, and global economic developments. It also aims to discuss policies and reforms focused on fostering inclusive prosperity and building resilience through robust international cooperation.
