Cairo: The State of Qatar participated in an Arab coordination meeting for permanent delegates to the Arab League, held at the League's General Secretariat headquarters in Cairo. The meeting aimed to prepare for the upcoming 10th meeting of permanent delegates to the Arab League and ambassadors of the European Union's Political and Security Committee, as well as strategic cooperation working group meetings scheduled for June 19 in Brussels.
According to Qatar News Agency, Deputy Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Maryam Ahmed Al Shaibi led Qatar's delegation at the meeting. Arab permanent delegates were updated on the preparations for the upcoming sessions and engaged in discussions on a joint statement to be adopted. The meetings are intended to strengthen relations and improve cooperation mechanisms between Arab states and European Union countries.
