Amman: The State of Qatar participated in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with mobilizing international action in response to illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem, held in Amman, Jordan. His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani led Qatar's delegation at the meeting.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting addressed the dangerous escalation by Israel in the occupied city of Jerusalem, impacting both Islamic and Christian holy sites. The discussions focused on launching a joint action plan to counter these illegal measures, which are contributing to increased tensions in the region.

The committee, which includes members from the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Tunisia, the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Palestine, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Morocco, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League, aims to mitigate the risks of further conflict. Additionally, the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Turkiye, along with representatives from the Republic of Indonesia and Malaysia, also participated in the meeting.
