Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in a strategic discussion with HE Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer, focusing on the bilateral relations between Qatar and the UK. The conversation also included discussions on regional and international developments of joint interest, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Lebanon, along with exploring diplomatic means to de-escalate tensions and achieve a ceasefire. According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Qatar, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, participated in two high-level ministerial sessions at the 16th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Cali, Colombia. In a separate diplomatic engagement, HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Melanie Joly during the Ministerial Conference on the Human Dimension of th e Peace Formula in Ukraine, held in Montreal. In another significant meeting, HE Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh met with HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai. The leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing the partnership between Vietnam and Qatar in the field of artificial intelligence and continuing collaboration in communications and information technology.
