Doha: Represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the State of Qatar participated in the 27th meeting of the Executive Committee for e-Government in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held Monday in the State of Kuwait. The meeting saw participation from various representatives of ministries and entities concerned with digital government in the GCC countries, alongside the GCC General Secretariat. According to Qatar News Agency, the State of Qatar's delegation was led by Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Government Affairs Mashael Ali Al Hammadi. Key discussions at the meeting revolved around Gulf initiatives in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital trust services, and joint e-services across the GCC countries. The meeting highlighted the commitment of member states to enhance cooperation in digital government. There was a strong emphasis on promoting joint coordination among the GCC countries to improve the quality of e-government services.
