Abu dhabi: The State of Qatar participated in the 11th meeting of Their Excellencies Deputies of Arab Finance Ministries, organized by the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) over two days in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The event brought together experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
According to Qatar News Agency, the State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai, who led the participating delegation. The meeting's agenda included several topics significant to Arab countries, such as opportunities for artificial intelligence in fiscal policy and public finance, and sustainable financing for achieving sustainable infrastructure.
Participants also shared experiences of Arab countries in strengthening social safety nets and discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers.
