Qatar Engages in Regional Cybersecurity Dialogue at C8 Conference

Amman: The State of Qatar actively participated in the C8 Conference and Exhibition on Cybersecurity Advancements, Innovations, and Technology, which was organized in Jordan with the involvement of numerous specialists and stakeholders in the field of cybersecurity. Leading the Qatari delegation was HE President of the National Cyber Security Agency, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency participated in a high-level dialogue session titled "Arab Cybersecurity Strategy: Core Pillars and Regional Application." This session focused on the significance of adopting a unified Arab approach to enhancing cybersecurity and emphasized the importance of joint cooperation among Arab nations in developing effective strategies to confront the escalating challenges in cyberspace.

During the session, HE Al Malki highlighted significant national and regional efforts and initiatives, underscoring the necessity of collective action and the exchange of experiences among Arab countries. He emphasized that such collaboration is crucial for boosting cyber readiness and supporting digital security and stability across the region.
