Doha: Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance's net profit jumped by 176 percent in Q1 2025, reaching QR 49.63 million, compared to a net profit of QR 17.98 million for the same period in 2024.
According to Qatar News Agency, the company's figures published on the Qatar Stock Exchange's (QSE) website on Tuesday revealed that the Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.057 as of March 31, 2025, versus EPS of QR 0.021 for the same period last year.
Meanwhile, QLM Life and Medical Insurance Company's net profit dropped by 12.8 percent in Q1 2025, down to QR 15.19 million, compared to a net profit of QR 17.43 million for the same period in 2024. The company's figures show that Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.04 as of March 31, 2025, versus EPS of QR 0.05 for the same period last year.
