Doha: Al Arabi strengthened their lead in the Qatar Handball League after a 31-23 win over Al Duhail in their ninth-round match. With 27 points, Al Arabi maintain their perfect record and remain undefeated in the league, while Al Duhail remain in second place with 23 points. According to Qatar News Agency, in another match, Al Rayyan defeated Qatar SC 30-21, bringing their total to 21 points and securing third place. Qatar SC remain in eighth place with 15 points. Al Sadd and Al Wakrah played to a 26-26 draw, leaving Al Sadd in fourth place with 18 points and Al Wakrah in seventh with 16 points. Al Ahli beat Al Shamal 26-25, bringing their total to 18 points and placing them fifth. Al Shamal remain in tenth place with 10 points. Al Khor achieved victory over Al Gharafa with 29-22, raising Al Khor's tally to 17 points in sixth place, while Al Gharafa is in ninth place with 14 points.
