Qatar Hosts FIG Trampoline Technical Committee Meeting in Doha

Doha: Reinforcing its status as a leading global sports hub, the Qatar Gymnastics Federation is hosting the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Trampoline Technical Committee meeting from 4-9 December, with the participation of top experts and officials responsible for the development of trampoline gymnastics worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, this hosting reflects the continued confidence the FIG places in Qatar, thanks to the country's world-class sports infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities that meet the highest international standards, and its distinguished record in organizing major international championships, training camps, technical courses, and specialized conferences. This further cements Doha's standing as a preferred and permanent destination for global sports federations.

The technical committee is set to discuss a number of key topics aimed at advancing trampoline gymnastics, including the latest updates to judging regulations, evaluations of organizational and technical performance in previous world events, and reviews of preparations for upcoming competitions. The meeting will also consider a series of proposals designed to enhance the sport's technical and judging standards.

The committee's agenda focuses on three main disciplines within trampoline gymnastics: trampoline, double mini trampoline, and tumbling.
