Budapest: The Qatar-Hungary Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Shura Council, led by HE President of the Group Mohammed bin Fahd Al Musallam, held a meeting in Budapest with HE Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament Laszlo Kover and HE Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Istvan Jakab.

According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation from the Shura Council also engaged in discussions with the Hungary-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Group, chaired by HE Laszlo Horvath, and HE President of the Hungarian National Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Mihaly Balla. The meetings focused on enhancing the parliamentary relationship between Qatar and Hungary and explored mechanisms to strengthen engagement and coordination between the respective parliamentary friendship groups.
