Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with other Qatari leaders, sent cables of condolences to HH Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, following the passing of Sheikha Badriah Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani also expressed their sympathies to the Kuwaiti Amir on Saturday. These gestures of condolence highlight the deep ties between Qatar and Kuwait.
